The Executive of the Australasian Catholic Press Association is pleased to announced the 2025 Conference and Annual Awards will be held at the Pavilion on Northbourne, in Canberra.

The Conference will be held commencing Tuesday 2 September with the Annual General Meeting and conclude with the Annual Conference Mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral celebrated by Canberra-Goulburn Archbishop, the Most Rev Christopher Prowse before the Awards Night and Dinner on Thursday 4 September.

This year the Conference theme will focus on Pope Francis’ Jubilee Year,

ACPA President Jamie O’Brien said the Conference will provide Catholic communications professionals across Australia an ample opportunity to reflect and engage.

“With a strong line-up of speakers, the Conference will be of great source of knowledge sharing and networking for Catholic communications and media professionals across our parishes, publications and diocese,” Mr O’Brien said.

“Formation is a key component of this Jubilee Year, so I encourage all interested professionals to register,” he said

The conference will also include a special excursion to a venue of local and/or cultural significance.

Mr O’Brien encouraged ACPA members and non-ACPA members alike to come together for this once-a-year opportunity. “Our thanks to the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn for opening your diocese to ACPA,” Mr O’Brien said.
