EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS EXTENDED! Register now for 2026 ACPA Conference
Early bird registrations for this year’s Australasian Catholic Press Association (ACPA) Conference have been extended to Friday 10 July. Don’t miss out!
The ACPA Conference and Awards Dinner will be held in Christchurch, New Zealand, from August 26-27, with the annual ACPA AGM to take place on the evening of 25 August. This year’s conference theme is Preserving Human Faces and Voices and is focussed on Pope Leo XIV’s message for the 60th World Day of Social Communications.
Guest speakers include:
- Cardinal John Dew, who was at the conclave to elect Pope Leo XIV
- James Bergin, Catholic Technologist and Digital Ministry Specialist
- Chelsea Houghton, Strategic Communications and Fundraising Specialist
- Sinead Boucher, Owner and Publisher of Stuff Group, New Zealand
- Charles Ropitini (Ngāti Kahungunu), a member of Compassion Te Whare Māori for Wairoa and Heretaunga with a special focus on Venerable Meri Hōhepa Suzanne Aubert and her 2026 Centenary Year.
The conference will interest many who work in media and communications in dioceses, parishes and Catholic charities.
