2022 ACPA Conference – REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN
Registrations are NOW OPEN for the 2022 ACPA Conference in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia!
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Witness of the Truth: To Go, To See, To Share.
After more than two years of COVID-19 lockdowns, and following the Fifth Plenary Council of Australia, the 2022 Australasian Catholic Press Association Conference in Melbourne, Australia, puts forward the invitation to all Catholic journalists and communicators to ‘Come and See’, to be witnesses of the truth and to share this with others. The theme, derived from Pope Francis’ 2021 World Communications Day Message, aims to serve as an inspiration for each of us to commit to being leaders in communication that strives to be clear and honest – whether that be through print, video, audio, social or political methods.
The conference will look at how and where the Church can continue to announce the Gospel in new and concrete ways, while also exploring some of the challenges our Church faces.
We also look at the role of Catholic media in engaging our community in truth-telling, sharing of stories, and developing ways forward in communications for the Church and her people.
